Eccles Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Hi there, just wondering if anyone has first-hand experience of great places for kids to go to/see/experience in the Philippines? Happy to hear about places in Manila, or anywhere across the archipelago. Will be heading back in July for a trip. I’ve an active 8-year-old. First trip to the Philippines for him. I’ve visited PH a few times. Yes, I’ve looked at a few places online - but nothing beats first-hand knowledge about places to see/stay! Many thanks : )

Forum Support Old55 Posted June 5, 2025 Forum Support Posted June 5, 2025 Welcome to the forum Eccles. If you plan on spending a week or more I suggest you visit Palawan or Boracay. Your 8 year old is old enough to enjoy beaches and simple snorkeling. Bring children sun screen a sun hat would be good as well.
graham59 Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Mall of Asia (MOA) is quite a good location in Manila. It is huge, with lots of play areas. Nice and cool. Even had an ice rink last time I was there.

If he is a reasonably good swimmer: Ocean Adventure is Subic. Not a great aquarium but you can swim with Dolphins for what is probably the cheapest price in the world. The Dolphin, Seal and animal shows are good too. Aqua Planet Waterpark in Clark. World Class water park for a reasonable price. Jpark Resort in Mactan. 5 star with great stuff for kids including a good waterpark. High priced but we thought it was a good value. Look for specials like buy 2 night get third free. Always check Klook for discounts.
