PanchoTx Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Returning to the PI in September to live in Pampanga. Everyone has been great with answering my questions and providing advice. I thought I would see if you can fill in some blanks in a history lesson for me. Angeles Fried Chicken was the sight of my 21st birthday party in Jan of 1967. I was married in the Marlem Mansion in Oct of 1970 and had our reception at AFC. I have stopped by in 2017 and it looked like NOTHING had changed....even the table clothes looked the same. I intend to be there frequently upon our return. I would love to know more about the history of the place. When did it open, is it the same family ownership. etc. etc. Rumors in the 70's said the KFC was trying to figure a way to force a name change. Any memories or insight would be great. Thanks 3

Thanks The table cloths looked the same because they are the same ones. They might have been washed twice though. I think the deep fry oil was changed around 2007.
