Encountering Bad Behavior

From time to time, I encounter bad behavior in the Philippines, and in other countries for that matter.  We were seated in a small restaurant waiting for our food.  That day, it was especially hot and humid outside.  Two women walked in.  One of them was sweating profusely.  The restaurant had two large portable air-conditioners to supplement several old wall units.  She stands in front of one pulling her damp blouse forward in an attempt to dry it.  Reeking of cheap perfume and possibly dirty armpits, the restaurant became enveloped in a bad stench.  My wife wanted for me to ask her to sit down.  I couldn't.  We placed money on the table and left.

What's your story.

Single mom ran out of money so we bought powdered milk for her baby.  We heard later that she was calling us kuripot because my wife refused to buy the American brand at a much higher price.

We had a sheer act of "I don't give a crap" moment happen to us in a local McDonalds.

At the time there was only one McD's in town that we stopped in a few times a year. It was/is quite popular requiring an overflow seating area in the back.

We were in this seating area filled with little 2 foot tables, eating our meal. My back faced anyone who entered.

At some point I saw out of the corner of my eye, a persons large drink topple off the end of a tray being carried by a patron. The drink landed in the middle of our table soaking our meal and the wife. After the mess was cleaned up, I asked the wife if she seen who had shared their drink with us as they had simply disappeared. The wife said that the culprit was a young lady sitting about 5 rows behind me. I look back and noted that the lady was calmly eating her lunch as if nothing had happened.

I went back and started chewing her tail----she made one excuse after another---someone pushed her, she had slipped, she was tripped,---on and on her excuses went without ever a thought of offering an apology until finally she blurts out for all to hear "I'M PREGNANT".

I'm like who cares---the wife and I left.

Exiting a doctors surgery after having 3 SCC removals, leg heavily bandaged and feeling groggy. Wanted to sit a bit before departing, seats all occupied by young and old, mothers kids. Not one offered me a seat, even after requesting, plus no mother asked her kid to move for me. I felt sick times two.

Several years ago I was living on Samal Island aboard my yacht. I would take a short ferry ride over to the mainland to visit L and also to shop.

On one particular occasion I was returning to the island on the ferry at night. There is a section on the ferries with signs clearly noting that it is for seniors or those with disabilities... As I boarded, there were three or four teenagers parked on the assigned seats. So I just walked over to that section and stood there, staring at the kids on the seat. One, in particular, would look up at me now and then but wouldn't move. I didn't say anything, but just fixed him with the evil eye. I know he knew he was being rude, so I settled with just doing my best to give him guilt... No idea if he had a conscience or not... I stood for the 20 minute ferry ride and never took my eyes off him. He never looked up after the first few minutes... A****le!

Sounds like a few of you need to learn the "fart on demand" technique.  Tit for tat and you get your seat!

Ahhhh... Blit for blat syndrome... Unfortunately for me, I didn't have any beans in my earlier meals... So this old fart sadly could not produce a smelly old fart!

These days, I have to be careful that a smelly old fart does not degenerate into a smelly old poop!:shock_40_anim_gif:

Even better!  You can have the whole bus / train car to yourself!
