craftbeerlover Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 Got to admit, when I wrote the title, my brain was LOUDLY singing - Get yourself cooler, lay yourself low Coincidental murder with nothing to show When the judge's constipation go to his head And his wife's aggravation, you're soon enough dead Its the same old story, same old song and dance my friend... JJReyes Posted January 9 Posted January 9 History repeats itself. Hundreds, maybe thousands get hurt or die from vehicular accidents daily, so most are not reported by media. Airplane accidents on the other hand are always major news. Even minor incidents like blown tires upon landing or the wing tips of two aircrafts touching each other is reported. The public develops a fear of flying while this mode of transportation is probably safer. Best statistic ever and I quote, "Most car accidents happen with a 10 miles radius from your home." Huh? Most of your life is spent driving near your home whether for school or work related.

I got stopped not far from my home and the cop wanted to know what my rush was so I quoted the 5 mile danger radius and told him I was trying to get out of the danger zone asap. He actually let me off with a warning. Edited January 9 by Possum

Forum Support Mike J Posted January 9 Forum Support Posted January 9 The sad part of the story for me is that their are so many families that squat next, or even in, a landfill. I cannot imagine the misery of trying to scratch out an existence by picking through garbage. And it is highly unlikely that any of those families or children can know a better life. Some of the poverty here breaks the heart. 4

A friend of mine read about the 10 mile radius of your home statistic so he moved. :) 4
