Papa Carl Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Can anyone tell me what happened to the process from this thread back in 2008 about bringing in used PC's and Laptops for use in schools etc. This is a subject close to my heart, as it was something that I tried to do back in 2007 when I was helping with building a school in Negros Oriental. I had several contacts in the UK who were going to help with companies in the UK who were upgrading all their internal systems. It finally fell through because of several reasons, cost of shipping equipment here, customers here in The Philippines, land transport once landed etc etcThis, along with Solar Power for remote areas are two areas of interest for me, and I would like to know if any members are currently involved in any activity along these lines.Many thanksCarl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
