Not good enough. I need a law to protect me when waking up bleary eyed and hung over at 930am, and the Filipinas next door are belting out early 80s hits!

Have another drink and join them with the 80's songs.  Life is good !

I'm all for that law. Even better though, I'd like to see laws that make all night heavy bass techno rave music illegal during town/barangay fiestas. It's fine up to midnight or 1AM I'd say, but all night can be a real aggravation!

Talk about real aggravation, I must now switch off my amplifier to prevent my sounds penetrating through the blanket.  It is music to my ears with a continuous loop of F sharps and F flats.  My wife still doesn't appreciate good music with occasional aroma of what I call, the Essence of Jake.

I get no respect sometimes......

I personally like that bill, but what's next?  I can see him eventually shutting down all the go-go bars that cater to foreigners.

I doubt it, those are probably safe, seeing that a lot of the expected foreign tourists will be Chinese businessmen with out their wives :hystery:

You know I base this a bit on personal observation.

We go the "city of dreams" casino often. The place is packed with Chinese tourist. When we are there during day time, you will see "couples" sitting at the tables or walking in the shopping area. When we are there at night.........lots of Chinese ladies playing the slots, not a lot of Chinese men around though....I wonder where they might be?:89:

Older men, rather indifferently dressed, with much younger and very good looking Chinese girls who are very well dressed in designer clothes and are often taller than the man?

They (the men) spend the evenings back at the hotel with their wives.:photo-109:

This is based on what I see in the up-scale shopping malls in Beijing.

Love that kind off stuff and will usually join in. More 50's and 60's though.

Good having a deaf ear and can sleep on the good one.

What's life without a little fiesta now and then?

I would like to see a general noise pollution law, not karaoke specific.  But out in the province it will be virtually unenforceable.

We have one neighbor in particular that other neighbors are complaining about... and of course nothing is done.  I am expecting his speakers to "accidentally" catch fire soon.  (No, not by me, a few of the old locals look about ready...)  :tiphat:
