@ 200,000 pesos ahead family is buying the drinks.

Fe's friend drove us around Cebu City and said if you hit someone never stop.  200,000 for dead more for maimed.

Seem cold, is why Taxi or jeepney is my preferred travel method.

You know we can all talk about this but just remember that the Automobile association was set up in the uk to tell drivers of speed traps up ahead.And that was a couple of hundred years ago so maybe the people here are copying that.

Probably someone who does not think he is drunk as he only had "a few"  I don't know too many smart drunks when they are under the influence.

Brings back memories.  We would place up a large sign “DWI CHECK POINT AHEAD”.  This was prior to a turn off street.  Several police cars could be seen in the distance with flashing lights at the check point ahead in the distance.  A second check point was set up a few hundred yards on the turn off street just out of sight.  We were usually to busy to ever go after any vehicle that would u-turn to avoid the check point.  Plus there is no crime to avoid the check point,…as long as you did not commit another offense in doing so.  I will say most were to drunk or scared and continued to the checkpoint.  Several were arrested at the turnoff check point but the majority were caught at the main check point.  These operations were funded by federal grants along with MADD.

Funny that the woman who founded MADD was a drunk also. She had probably been caught and released many times but finally found a cop who would enforce the law, even against her.
