Steve GCC Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Live and work here in Dubai............causing huge issues locally also...... UAE (Dubai) both Etihad and Emirates stopped flying into Qatar. Qatar Airways not allowed in UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Egypt and now Libya Air Space......huge detours and will have to fly over Iran and go around! Qatar Airways stopped all flights to countrys above also. Seems they are now pretty screwed!!!! All Qatari embassy have 48 hours to leave country, citizens 2 weeks to leave. Around 40% of Qatar food is trucked from Saudi..........not sure how that will pan out if has to now be shipped in. Bein sports (qatar sports channel) now blocked and ctch watch the footy, disaster also. It would appear they paid ransom for a hunting party that included royal members to Iraq extremists after over a year.......$1bn!!!! Been all over International news also Qatar certainly punches above its weight for such a small country politically..........if you have ever been it is really just Doha the capital and little else apart from desert and oh yes................lots of gas in that desert.
