Personal questions, how do you deal with them?

My Filipina friends always ask me how much I paid for something, then tell me where I can get it cheaper. They are shocked when I tell them I paid 84p for breakfast (2 eggs and toast) . They tell me where I can get the same breakfast for 30p, or better yet where I can buy eggs for 6p each and cook it myself.

That's when you tell them "Don't tell me, show me!"

Yes, I've had people try to sell me a house. I have to laff. The laff tells them I'm not interested.

Just like the guy trying to sell me sun glasses when he can plainly see I'm wearing mine.

Most of it is they are hoping for a commission I believe.

It usually ends up with me buying them breakfast.
