OK, that is the Weetabix we get in England and Canada, Jack. But looking at the box, this is the Aussie stuff we can get here and its not the same

Yes! I see, I guess they have to remove the "a" in the name as Weetabix is a Trademark name and protected as such. Yes? + it looks nothing like the real thing and From what Kev (Sonjack) and you say it is not that nice

Yeah Dave that is the one made by Sanitarium, there are other brands and  I believe wheatabix is an off shute of the original brand. In a pinch I'd eat wheatabix but the real thing is like mother milk. Thanks all. :cornflakes:

well we live and learn and this did surprise me I have to admit;****

When was Weetabix first made?

Both Weet-Bix and Weetabix were invented by Bennison Osborne, an Australian. Weet-Bix was introduced in Australia through the company “Grain Products Limited” in the mid-1920s, with funding from businessman Arthur Shannon and marketing assistance from Osborne's New Zealand friend Malcolm Macfarlane.***

Bet they were UK import Families though:hystery:

NOW back to normality  I wonder if there is anyone out there in PEF land that shops at Tesco or any other UK shops now Springing up that can try and source these Items? M & S maybe? seems likely that they might get stocks every now and then  I say UK because it seems the In thing for some UK Companies of late to open sections and/or Stores
