Why Is She Always Wet?

A had that same question in the Philippines a few years ago until I started living with my Filipino wife in America. Even then it took a few months to discover the answer because I never went into the bathroom with her and she always closed the door. Finally one day I discovered the answer. On the rim of the toilet were marks which matched up with the groves on her flip flops. This time she didn't remove her flip flops or shoes when she used the toilet, so I asked her, are you sitting on the toilet and putting your feet on it and squatting? I found out that she never sat on the toilet even though we kept it very clean. That day I explained to her what the toilet seat and toilet lid were for. She had never used a toilet that had a seat and a lid. That day she started using the toilet seat like Westerners.

This is why in the Philippines most Filipinos don't care if the toilet is wet because they are not going to sit on it anyway. It also helps to explain why its very common for a shower head to be above the toilet because they don't care if the toilet is wet all the time. Now you will know when to go to use the toilet why she is wet.

:lol: My wife has shipped several toilet seats, sitters as she calls them. Now she cannot live without one. Now it really ticks her off when people in Philippines leave water on the sitter seat!

Another thing over here you will go to places that don't have lids, a lot of churches in the provience ,also some hospitals, and public toilets , and if lid no paper for sure, my son still sits on top without seat

We have a lot of problems in the ashram at our temple. Most of the Indians insist on squating on a western toilet. They have broken numerous seats, and knocked the toilets over quite a few times! I gave up on repairing them for the temple. I said they had to pay a plumber from now on. I was hoping they would find a way to enforce sanity (yeah, right), they probably just got someone else to fix them ha ha

Ok..... kind of along those lines but completely different.....

My first time in Korea was also the first time I ever got drunk (age 24 if you must know). So I drank 4 bottles of Oscar (really cheap horrible wine) and needed to excuse myself for some projectile vomitting. The bathroom doors were marked "Eastern" and "Western". I had no idea why - but since I was in the east I picked eastern. Forget squatting on a western toilet, how about throwing up in an eastern toilet!? When I came out all the gilrs were laughing their asses off! They thought it was the funniset thing ever..... whoever had to clean that bathroom probably did not see the humor in it. Ok. back to the original topic :tiphat:

This is why in the Philippines most Filipinos don't care if the toilet is wet because they are not going to sit on it anyway.

at least she didnt fall off.injure herself . Or damage the unit.

My asawa squats also only on the public toilets for sanitary reasons and having seen some of these public toilets I would do the same thing ... if I could ..... instead I just pee all over the floor ..... :dance: ..... :cheersty:

Please don't think I'm saying anything bad or negative about this, I'm just making some people aware of different customs and way of doing things. Sitting on a public toilet is not a good idea in the Philippines or in any country so I understand why the females squat over the toilet here. Probably the males do too when they have to go #2. Sometimes I wish I could too but I'm getting old and not flexible enough to squat anymore. I just wipe off the toilet rim with tissue and hope for the best. So far after 3 years I haven't caught anything that I know of.

It will be so funny if one day you see shoe prints on your toilet rim. There's nothing wrong with it, its just different and what they are use to.

Shoe prints on the toilet rim make me smile. Wet toilet seat and floor around it makes me frown. Broken toilet seat from big fat maid squatting on the seat makes me fume!
