Can you just walk into the building and ask them what they have available or do you need an agent? Anyone have good recommendations for something in Taguig or Ortigas?

I find the best way is to do a search online and see what is available and then go to the condos and see if they have onsite sales offices, that way you already have an idea of prices.I did a quick search for both areas and came up with the following ones.http://www.condoinmanila.com/2011/02/taguig-city-tres-palmas-condos-near-fort-makati-from-php-1-825m/http://www.npsrealty.com.ph/ortigas-real-estatehttp://condohunterphils.com/ortigascondos.htmhttp://www.mycondo.com.ph/ Also be advised that I have found the online sites are rarely updated, so prices and availability may vary greatly, but an educated consumer is a good shopper IMO.

Thanks. Do you now whether most condos in PI are rented by the building or individual owners?

Also keep in mind that online prices are specifically directed at foreigners so the prices will be very inflated.

Most are rented out by individual owners via agents from what I have seen.

Also buyandsell magazine sold in all 7-11 has a property section, with both agents and owners advertising direct. some good deals in there ESP around salcedo village which as far too many posh flats for the rental demand.
