In one story they did say the father paid a ransom for the mother and son. Since only the mother was released they were holding out for more money for the son.These kidnappers are not so called "Freedom Fighters" they are common thugs out for an easy score. Nothing political about them.Kind of sad of me to have this thought but.... I wonder if some immigration official made a stink about the kid overstaying his VISA?
