Accommodation Aug - Oct

Hi, I will be in Cebu from around the 17 Aug until 17 Oct 2012 and am after some accomadation for 2 people, preferably a unit, apartment, condo or other similar accomadations not to far from Ayala (walking distance 20 minutes at most). 1 bed room is fine.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

I thought Arcenas was near Gaisano Country Mall. Are you sure you can walk to Ayala Mall in 20 minutes from Arcenas?

For the original poster, there are a whole bunch of 1 bedroom condos inside hotels that are easy walking distance to Ayala Mall, Such as Golden Peak Hotel. Would any of them be of interest?

I reckon it's a 1km from Ayala and even I could walk that in 20 minutes.. But you're right there are many places a lot closer, I just so many good reports back from clients about the place.

Thanks Paul but I am confused now.

I have not yet managed to work out where Arcenas is but the website says

walking distance to Gaisano Mall and Banilad Town Center. With just 2 to 5 minutes

So naturally I get the idea it is close to Gaisano Country Mall. On my map, Gaisano Country Mall is nearly 2.5 kilometres to Ayala Mall.

Do you have a map showing the location of Arcenas.

I was talking to a friend's wife last Christmas - a filipina - who told me that there is always this to count on in the Philippines:

1. A woman will always say she is 100 lbs when she truly will 90 lbs.
   
2. A woman will always say she is 5' 2" when she is really 4' 10".
   
3. A woman will always say something is only a 5 minute walk when it is really a 30 minute walk.
   

I guess she wasn't kidding!
