BrandonD Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I really like the SoGo hotel chain. It is always clean, affordable, air conditioned, and room service (at least in Quezon city) is 10 minutes or free. Does this make me a bad person? Maybe just uninformed? The beds work for anything I want to do with them!
Call me bubba Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 if your looking for clean.cheap lodging for short time stay, Then this is the place, for those on a limited budget , however, Most not all seek this "Fine" hotel chain not for the "room service" but for the "rest&relaxation"( s...x) that one needs to enjoy himself w/one that he would not take to his home/apt/condo
MikeB Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I question how clean it really is. Looking clean and being clean are different things and with the constant turnover, several times a day (with customers waiting) I doubt most of these rooms are ever adequately cleaned. They do serve a purpose though.
BrandonD Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 I went to a SoGo one time (I think thats what it was) with plastic guns covering the wall as decoration. It was my first hotel experience in the Philippines. "Hmm, so this is how they do things here. Must be a cultural thing!"

jode Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 (edited) There are dozens of short time hotels in cebu, 2 to 300 pesos for 2 hrs. I asked for a 5 minute rate but the guy just laughed. Two hours was as short a time as they will go. So if you are like me and insist on getting your money's worth. You will spend alot of time twiddling your thumbs, commenting on the weather, and trying to make conversation. While she fixes her hair, puts her face back on, texts, and looks bored, - till the two hours are up. They are very busy around the clock. Some are quite nice. The Queensland chain seems to have a good design for the purpose, well placed mirrors and such, and clear porno on the tube. The taxi drivers know them all. Just ask to go to a lodge, and sometimes wait in line. They are used alot by still at home girls, who want privacy with their pinoy bf's. Many of us have probably unwittingly paid the tab for these trysts. I know I have. Also be skeptical of the "trying to act like a good girl", girl, but who seems to know all the pros and cons of the differant short time hotels, and wants to go to her favorite.
