Bundy Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Got to talking with a local Carcar farmer the other day when they were picking their eggplants. We exchanged ideas and got on well.He became very interested when i showed him pictures of what we did in Australia. I gave him a packet of sweetcorn seeds from Bundaberg and he gave me a pomegrante. At some stage in the future we're going to plant a trial lot of seeds from Oz with him. These are the times i really like it here, not walking around malls aimlessly but out making friends with simple folk, just like me Looked to me he had about 4 acres under crops although he said he also had another farm which we'll visit later. Just like us it's all leased but for P5,000 a year! Can't beat that!
