In my research and one of the main reasons for choosing Cebu area was, anything below Cebu is considered below the Typhoon and Hurricanes belt. Something like what hits Manila on a yearly basis, for example. Hence, I am looking at Cebu, surroundings, Dumaguete and Davo. But who knows?
