And if so have you been able to use it successfully for online transactions eg; purchasing airline tickets? My card definitely says "Debit card" on it and it also has the "VISA" symbol and a visa number sequence. I'd ask BDO if i could but i'm currently stuck out the back of nowhere in OZ. A charge card will have Visa or MasterCard or whatever.
