Always remember that LESS that 5% of people who have back surgery are happy with the results! Surgery should always be the last resort!

Friend of mine where I worked had back problems. Instead of surgery he opted for physical therapy and learned how to use exercise and weight training to overcome his back problems. He ended up buying specialized workout equipment that he uses everyday for his back.

Hi all,

been on about this subject before and said I would report back. Over the last 2 years I have had many sessions with various hospitals, chiropractors and even Acupuncture. Anything to try and shake this lower back problem, compacted discs and sciatica.

I changed my choice of venue a couple of days ago, having heard about this place from a couple of reliable sources and WOW! why did I not go here in the beginning! Laziness to get out and find it would be my only reason, Stupid me!

SUGBU MEDICAL CENTER FOR ORTHOPAEDIC SPINE & SPORTS INJURY REHABILTATION

The clinic has all the latest equipment, as soon as I walked in I was attended to, not sitting waiting for hours in agony. Dr Lawrence Lim came to chat with me immediately and had pretty much already made a preliminary examination as I had walked across the room to the reception desk. I have only had a couple of sessions so far but because each visit has been 2 hours long and whilst there I have been talking through every step of what we have been doing and are going to do next with both the doctor and his very professional pleasant staff this place makes you feel cared for and for sure gives you the feeling and knowledge that these people are the ones that should be attending to my weakened joints and limbs, back on the golf course soon I hope!!

Dr Laurence Lim

Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy of the Spine

Landmark Plaza

Wireless Mandaue City

Cebu 6014

Tel: (63 32)5111388

HOPE THIS INFORMATION HELPS A LOT OF YOU SUFFERERS OUT THERE.

BTW Its under the fly over heading from SM towards the Mabolo bridge just after the LTO Office.

Geoff...

Have Dr. Lim contact His Jollyness for pricing for a banner ad on the forum! With such a large number of expats in Cebu, he might do ok and increase his foreigner business.

I may just do that although for me I think any medical advise should be free I know and have already told quite a few people ( fellow sufferers ) about this place and I expect no money for it.
