Painting Drop Cloth

I have looked in Ace and Handyman and they do not carry any kind of plastic or cloth "drop cloth" for painting.  I guess they just use newspaper, or judging from the amount of paint I see spilled around, nothing!   :hystery:

Has anyone seen these?  I have not checked any paint stores yet.  There were a few dedicated paint stores in Laguna but I don't recall seeing one in Subic yet.

Did u check the Ace store in SM?  I thought I saw some there.  Try the hardware stores in Olongopo.  Exit the gate just past Ayala mall and there are some stores on your left.

I've looked on and off over the years and not managed to find any cloth drop sheets, I have found very thin polythene drop sheets, I think they were in city hardware, however there a little dangerous as you can easily slip or slide on them, i have since brought some cloth drop sheets over in a balikbayan box.

Thanks for all the tips!

I had a thought that tarps could be used to cover major areas, and then mask the edges with newspapers.  There should be plenty of tarps available.

We went in Freeport Duty Free store today.  We had passed by many times and you really can't see how large it is from the outside.  They have many aisles of imported junk and some of it looks like returns.  However they do have some things that might be hard to find, so it might be worth your time to stop in.

We bought some sheets today at Pure Gold Duty Free and we notices that many had Ross or Walmart labels on them.  They were priced in USD and the Ross sheets we bought were $11.98 a set (about p500).  When we got them home the price tag peeled off and underneath was a Ross price tag for $8.99 USD!   :hystery:
