Popular Post Jake Posted July 19, 2013 Popular Post Posted July 19, 2013 I finally broke down and got the Crysis 3 game ($30 @ Amazon) along with an upgraded video card from a 9500GT to 630GT because the game requires DX11 rendition. Unfortunately, my Windows 7, 32 bit did not like it at all. My sound utility program (RealTek) was lost and I was unable to go on line. Plus it had starting issues after I did a couple restore. I totally gave up and begged Judy to fix my computer. She had it up and running within an hour. I re-installed my old card back and reloaded the same driver. All is good now. I guess I will save the Crysis 3 disk until I get a higher performance rig. In the meantime, I'm going back to my old school way of playing video games:

Mike S Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 To my pal Jake ..... although I love the buttons you are pushing and I'm sure you will get a lot of pleasure from the effects of them you are not a TRUE gamer until you can ignore all the little distractions that life will throw at you ...... :hystery: :hystery: That being said here are the requirements for playing Crisis 3 Minimum System Operating Requirements for PC • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 • DirectX 11 graphics card with 1Gb Video RAM • Dual core CPU • 2GB Memory (3GB on Vista) Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel): • Nvidia GTS 450 • Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz (E6600) Example 2 (AMD): • AMD Radeon HD5770 • AMD Athlon64 X2 2.7 Ghz (5200+) Recommended System Operating Requirements for PC • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 • DirectX 11 graphics card with 1GB Video RAM • Quad core CPU • 4GB Memory Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel): • Nvidia GTX 560 • Intel Core i3-530 Example 2 (AMD): • AMD Radeon HD5870 • AMD Phenom II X2 565 Hi-Performance PC Specifications • Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 • Latest DirectX 11 graphics card • Latest quad core CPU • 8GB Memory Example 1 (Nvidia/Intel): • NVidia GTX 680 • Intel Core i7-2600k Example 2 (AMD): • AMD Radeon HD7970 • AMD Bulldozer FX4150 With out knowing what you are exactly running on your rig I'm not sure if I can help or not but if you don't meet the bare minimum you are chit out of luck (see first requirements) .... :mocking: .... back in 2011 I upgraded my GPU to a GeForce GTX 560Ti and I hope it will last me for many more years to come and that is another reason I won't upgrade to a new version of windows no matter what version they come up with for Direct X .... plus sometimes there is always a work around if you do some searching on the net .... I was running a version of Direct X a few years ago that I wasn't supposed to (according to M$ ) but with a downloaded program from another source it worked just fine ...... So cheer up my friend there is hope for you yet in the world of the big boys gaming .... :hystery: :hystery: ...... now get back to twiddling those knobs you booby freak ..... :hystery: :hystery: :nudie: :cheersty:
