Yes dave I do use it when I visit manila, faster than a bus.& very crowded. and if the areas i need to go to is near or on the routes .Most times I am w/1 of my children so we are able to get into the "women's only "car which is less cramped. Up to you. Your choice do you want a crowded train and get there in 25-35 min or take a bus which can take up to 60-90min at times.? (last friday 630pm from shaw blvd/megamall area to Slex/southsuper highway took over 80min)) another 30min to get my bus to province had i taken the LRT it would been less time, only problem would been getting a seat on the bus going home. if others have used the Lrt/Mrt can you share your experiences? for me..Its more fun to girl watch in the Philippines while riding the mrt/lrt :tiphat:
bootleultras Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 The mrt drives me nuts, try getting on that thing on a Friday night in Ayala...... Absolute nightmare & the fighting Nd pushing just to get on is unbearable, I'm glad I don't have to get on it anymore but then again the OP is right, it certainly is 10 times faster than trying to make your way down EDSA at the same time!
