OnMyWay Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Manila is really getting hit hard! Let's hope the rain stops soon! We have had downpours for two days here in Subic but our area is not prone to flooding. I heard that the Sta Monica sub-division over is Barrio Baretto is flooded, again. Thankfully we went to through Manila to Laguna on Saturday, and when we left at about 3 pm the really intense rains were just starting. We originally planned our trip for Sunday so we were lucky to have moved it up a day. Laguna is getting hit hard too. I hope all members are staying safe and dry!
Papa Carl Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 We also have had none stop rain since Friday, and still raining! Here in Angeles. Many roads blocked due to flooding, and several areas of Angeles are flooded, (thankfully not us). Clark is OK, but the roads at times were also very bad, it appears that the water was not draining as fast as others times we have had heavy rains. I too hope all members and family in Manila area are safe. Papa Carl
