Rolling tobacco, the dutch produced version not the US varieties.

 

Borkum Riff cherry cavendish is the preference.

 

Recently they reduced the duty-free allowance on tobacco products in Australia, so buying a cheap pouch before departure doesn't really happen anymore.

 

Why do I smoke a pipe?  Back in my navy days, with waves crashing over the decks, tailor made packets get destroyed whereas rolling and pipe tobacco is fine and you can still coax it alight even when it's damp :D
