BobNChe Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Two British friends of mine recently opened a liquor, wine and beer store + in Talamban. It's called the Urban Cellar and they stock a wide selection of products plus Deli items. Many people have been asking where to buy import beers and wines so I thought I'd share the knowledge. They carry single malts and stuff you can't find easily in Cebu.http://www.theurbancellar.com/

Bruce Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I would be interested in hearing how much business is from the local people vs. foreigners. Looks like a good venture if there is a high visability / foot traffic for foreigners. But not enough foreigners or a down turn in travel might hurt a niche market like this. ancienrocka Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 I know the whiskey and beer are important, but to any British expats here the good news is you can also buy Colemans mustard powder, horseradish sauce and dumpling mix!!

Panserhansen Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 They also sell Norwegian Aquavite, Loitens Linie. I think the price was 1300 peso for 0,7 liter, about half the price we pay in Norway..
