The government of the Philippines is finally getting smart, they took the wives of the Abu Sayyaf in for so called questioning, but the bad thing is they say they did not pay ransom for his release, but they did pay p50,000 for his room and board and IMO that amounts to ransom. As long as any money is paid to these people IMO they will continue to kidnap people. http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/topstories/to...age-Vagni-freed

'I am the happiest man in the world' MANILA, Philippines - After 179 days of being held captive in the dense jungles of Sulu, Italian Red Cross worker Eugenio Vagni was overjoyed to see his family following his release by the Abu Sayyaf.

Well P50,000 for board on a Six month adventure tour seems reasonable, couldn't get it anywhere else at that price. :AddEmoticons04230:
