It seems the government wants to tax each selfie taken within the city limits. They plan to have a selfie tax deposit box at various corners, all you have to do is deposit your tax and move on your way. They estimate 1 billion pesos in a year if everyone cooperates. Stiff penalties for those who are seen taking selfie and not paying tax. They are going to give tax breaks to those who turn non-payers in.
