Asia-America gateway cable to be operational in August: PLDTMANILA, Jun 18, 2009 (Asia In Focus via COMTEX) -- PHILIPPINE LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE COMPANY (PLDT)(PSE:TEL) announced that the 20,000-kilometer long Asia America Gateway (AAG) Submarine Cable Project is expected to be operational by August this year.
