Steve & Myrlita Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) If it's for a laptop, it will be the SODIMM type. Next is it DDR2 or DDR3? Look almost identical but electrically incompatable. Next size. 1, 2, 4 gb? Is your OS 32 bit or 64 bit? 32 bit can't read past 3.5g.
