Coming back from Abu Dhabi for a week or so in October and thinking of a few days in the i-cove beach resort before heading to the house.

Be interested in any feedback anyone might have. Have stayed in Wild Orchid and Cayman Beach before but fancied something new.

Appreciate any info.

I've stayed in Sheavens Resort a couple of times, it's now called Subiza.  It's true 4 star accommodation at a relative cheap PH price.  Family friendly, not a hangout for sexpats for the most part given its location.  Has its own beach, a pool with a lifeguard (if you have young kids, you'll appreciate this) good value for money room service and restaurant, and not to far from the local mall.  It is a little on the upside for price but still affordable without getting into the expensive side there.  AC, clean, friendly staff, and the manager is a great guy.  I haven't been there for a couple of years so you'd have to check out current pricing.  They even have rooms for maids/drivers at a discount rate.

I always stay at the Wild Orchid because they have the best pool in Subic. I always book a poolside room. One year, the pool was flooded after a rain storm so I stayed at a Beachside room which I don't recommend unless you can handle the loud live music they have every night.
