Had to agree with Steve GCC, Vigan was quite the place for old houses to explore wherein a street is filled with old houses being restored and others turned into souvenir shops.

Also, if you happen to be a fan of museums, former prominent government officials houses turned museum. Most of the museums are free of entrance and fully air-conditioned so you sure in for quite the treat.
