Usually a locked suitcase is sufficient to secure valuables when traveling. However, I have recently been using a safe! PacSafe has a number of products that might be of interest to travelers. Below is some info on one of the travel safe products. http://tinyurl.com/yfvzowr

The TravelSafe 100 portable safe folds small and is easy to take with you whenever you need to Lock and Leave smaller valuables such as a passport, cash, a point-and-shoot camera or an Ipod

I use the pac safe mesh when I travel in the Philippines I can cover two bags with it never had any problems with theft from hotels or anywhere else I always lock my stuff up when I have to leave them even if I'm staying in someone's home. I dont put my guard down anywhere in the Philippines. I carry my cameras and laptop all looks innocent. However if any one has wire cutters its all gone fortunately most thefts are opportunistic.
