Well guys, at the end of my self quarantine (and still no symptoms), we went out camping and hiking a few weeks ago at the Valley of Fire State Park, NV.  About an hour's drive to the campsite, it was such a wonderful feeling to enjoy Mother Nature and the freedom without wearing a mask.
 

We hiked the one mile White Dome Trail with the first half climbing and descending at a 45 degree angle and then into a 4-6 foot wide slot canyon. As I stopped to catch my breath, I was debating whether I should call for a medivac because my butt and leg muscles were on fire. The last time I went hiking vertically was onboard a navy ship. I was on the precipice of many oh chit moments as I struggle to climb or descend only one foot. You know, similar to getting off/on your bed. But I continued on, not to be outdone by my 5 year old grand daughter.  And that ain't no chit. My grand daughter and my son trail blazed their own path, taking the high ground and watching us scale down this ravine.
 

Later that night, after a few cold ones, I gloriously pissed my pants. I said da hell with it....couldn't move ONE muscle anyway but otherwise gave me that temporary warmth, right next to the skin. And unfortunately, that ain't no chit either.
