Will the US and other countries follow N Korea lead? There has been lots of talk on some of the free press sites that the US has already prepared to change their money when the time is right and sometimes governments have a monkey see monkey do attitude, sort of like "well they did it and it did not work out that bad for them, so maybe we can also get away with pulling it." I hope not but that might be the only way the US and some other countries can control all their red ink and if they did, then it sure is going to hurt a lot of people.Anger over N.Korea's shock currency change Media reports and embassies in Pyongyang said people had been given a week to exchange 100 old won for one new won, but the amount they can change was strictly restricted.Link to the complete story here

In the next year or two don't be surprised if the US devalues the dollar 1:3."Major and semi-major banks are being told to obtain secure storage for new currency-dollars. They expect official devaluation by the end of the year. We do not know what the exchange rate will be, but as we have stated previously we expect three old dollars to be traded for one new dollar." http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=16313.
