Popular Post Snowy79 Posted January 26, 2022 Popular Post Posted January 26, 2022 I finally took a trip to the dolomite beach on Monday having seen the latest photoshop, I mean photograph showing it looking like a serious competitor to Boracay. You can safely say it's about 150m of pebbles and gravel that's slowly getting piled higher to stop the waves from the sea washing the basura ashore. They've also put a floating barrier about 100m off shore to catch larger debris. The first 50m from the shore you can make out lots of blackening of the Dolomite due to oil etc from the sea. Currently it's closed with PNP guarding it but you can get photos from a footbridge. My own personal opinion is it's a complete waste of money and would be better served by building another sea wall then turfing the whole area and installing umbrellas to protect picnickers from the sun. You certainly wouldn't want to be out on the dolomite on a sunny day without factor 100.

Freebie Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Will be a good opportunity for the next government admin to say that the previous admin wasted public funds but that " they " will be doing better.
