From Shitney to Manila - military precision.

Arrived at the international airport at 6 a.m. went and had the PCR test straight off the bat. Results came back in 1 hour negative so good to go.

Went to check in and that is where all the questions were asked i.e. international vaccine cert, return ticket, health pass, insurance for medical cover. The lot.

There we’re a lot of people being turned away for not having the health pass, mostly elderly people who can’t use technology.
 

So on arrival in Manila the passengers were told to stay in their seats and the plane would disembark by rows, not the usual free for all. very impressive.

Then into the hall where the coast guard were in charge of things, all I needed to produce there was the health pass and boarding pass, what was done in Shitney covered everything else, good thinking on someone’s part.

I was out in ten minutes where I caught the metered taxi, only the meter didn’t work he said. So I knew what it roughly cost so I gave him a figure. Of course he came up with the same shite that taxis all over the place use “ I have been waiting for six hours in the queue”.

Thanks, that seems pretty painless, from what the trail blazers traveling before you and what you have written I feel less panicky heading over now, just follow their procedures and no problems.
