Embarrassing- Retired US army goes berserk in a Cebu city bar

A RETIRED US army was taken into police custody after he went berserk inside a bar in Barangay Cogon-Ramos, Cebu City past 4 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022.

He, however, was freed on the same day after posting the P10,000 cash (bail) bond requested by Judge Jennelyn Forrosuelo of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 4.

Senior Master Sergeant Jeptha Jumawan of the Abellana Police Station 2 narrated that suspect, Jack Raymond Wilson, 45, of Wisconsin, USA, who presently resides along V. Rama Avenue, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City, was playing billiard when he was disturbed by fellow American national Bryan Heyland, 48, who was talking loudly with Mark Anthony Castilino of the United Kingdom, prompting him to call their attention.

When the two did not heed his plea, Jumawan said Wilson approached them and hit Heyland with a bottle and punched Castilino in the face when the latter intervened.

Heyland is temporarily residing in Lapu-Lapu City, while Castilino in a condotel in uptown Cebu City.

Jumawan said they went to the area after receiving a call for help from the bar management and later brought the three to the Abellana Police Station for questioning.

Wilson later posted a cash (bail) bond of P10,000 for his temporary liberty. (BBT, TPT)
