Jollygoodfellow Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 And people say it is hot in the Philippines, seems Baguio might be a great place to live for those of us who do not like the heat.TEMPERATURES will continue to drop in Baguio City and Metro Manila as cold air continues to blow in from China, weathermen said yesterday. Baguio shivered Monday after the temperature there dropped to 11 degrees Celsius, the coldest so far this year, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration. The agency's four-day forecast for Baguio City starting Dec. 10 indicated that the temperatures there would reach a high of 22 degrees Celsius and a low of 11 or less. The temperature in Metro Manila dipped to 19.7 degrees Celsius on Dec. 3, the lowest so far. In January, the temperature in Baguio City dropped to 7.5 degrees Celsius, the lowest since January 1986. The coldest temperature ever recorded, 6.3 degrees Celsius, was on Jan. 18, 1961. Frost that usually covers the vegetables coming from the highlands appears when temperatures dip to single-digit levels.Link to the story So I guess that blows the global warming theory out the window
