American nabbed in Angeles drug sting

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines — An American drug suspect was arrested by anti-narcotics agents in Angeles City on Sunday.

James Baginski reportedly yielded a plastic sachet containing shabu with an estimated street value of P34,500 as well as two plastic sachets suspected to contain cocaine and marked money, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Baginski, a native of Hawaii, has been in the Philippines since 2019.

The suspect has been under PDEA surveillance since June following information that he was involved in illegal drug activities.
