justdavid Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 I have never been into saipan, but I read a blog about their crime that it is generally safe and peaceful, but there are some petty crimes like theft and vandalism. And avoid walking alone at night. There are also some reports of human trafficking and illegal gambling on the island, so I think you should be careful who you trust when you go there. It is defiantly small and not a lot going on for sure. We will partake in a short visit on our next PI trip. Maybe schedule some mini short tours in between our upcoming SEA trips. Seems like a nice place to lay back in the calm for a few days so often. I hoped there was maybe a few expats who have maybe lived or visited there with their own perspective of things. I'll be heading to Singapore also probably this december, I read a blog on the places that's wonderful to visit in Singapore and I got convinced that I'm going to spend my holiday there.
