May the victim RIP.

This crime pegged out the stupid meter IMO.

A 65-year-old was found beheaded inside her shop in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.

According to a report on "Saksi" by Claire Lacanilao of GMA Regional TV, her head was found 200 meters away from the scene of the crime.

The suspect, her neighbor Mario Fortun, was reportedly in the middle of drinking when he told his buddies that he would bring them a gift.

The suspect allegedly presented the head to his drinking companions.

Initial investigations showed the crime may have rooted from a disagreement between the two neighbors over flowers.

My #1 rule when dealing with the locals is to never, ever drink with Filipinos especially family members.

I will add to that - I suggest to not be around Filipinos, especially family members, when they drink.

As a friend of mine told me, "The more we drink the bigger we get"

Yeah, the multitude of expat fighting videos on FB, Tik-Tok and other platforms would seem to bear this out.

I will take away from that, I love to be around my kids & extended family when I'm back home and they partake in some drinks. As for visitors (which most are petrified of me) I keep eyes in the back of my head at all times.
