Gcash verification

Has anyone had trouble taking a selfie to verify their Gcash account?  I have tried multiple times and the circle around my face almost goes all the way around but always times out.  I tried it in the same room and lighting my wife did successfully for her account.  At this point I'm thinking it might not like my beard.

Yes I tried many many times taking photos indoors (in good light) only to fail.

It wasn't until I took photos outside, in the sunlight, that I finally got it to work.

Not saying that'll work for you but maybe it's worth a try?

In order to get fully verified it does.

I'm having issues getting verified on GCash, or at least I think I am!

I was able to submit ID/Selfie and got the message  "Your Account is being verified, wait 3 days."  I checked the next day and the message was gone but I was still showing a basic user.  I went through the process again, same thing - a day later message has gone but not verified.  And, nothing saying why the verification failed and my attempts to verify seem to have disappeared.  I haven't received any SMS (signal weak so no surprise) or email.

Anyone got any experience, advice on this?

My wife and I have also been unable to to get verified by gcash. I know this doesn't help but perhaps you really just needed someone to listen and nod their head.

Thanks for the reply, at least I'm not alone.

I was hoping someone had something specific to add - I'll wait another couple of days then we'll try with my wife's phone.

I'm the same gave up at the 3rd attempt and that's with a Gcash rep helping me.
