Popular Post Mark25 Posted yesterday at 12:05 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 12:05 PM Finally made it back, after 9 months of planning it all paid off. Arrived the 2nd of June on United 189 from Houston to San Fran to Manila and Bohol, good to be in our home. To my surprise immigration at Manila just waved us through and never asked for that E travel form. Lived here in 2009-2014 I know what to expect here, I'm more at ease that the first time I was here, maybe its cause I'm older and wiser or just older dummer....but its better here now. Got my son enrolled in school today, changed my son and wife over to Tricare Overseas, I think anyway....

No need. Your E travel application appears on their computer screen when the passport is scanned. Wow! That's a long flight. Just curious, did they run your carry on bag(s) thru a scanner in Manila? I had to laugh, I arrived in Cebu from Japan about two weeks ago. Had two carry on bags, a roller case and a backpack plus two suitcases (I was in the USA for around 6 weeks prior to a week in Japan). After immigration they had me run my backpack thru the scanner, but not my other carry on. The whole thing seemed pointless to me and did nothing but cause a long line. Matter of fact they did not scan any luggage or carry ons...
