Manuel Felix, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, said Ewald Jaehrling died after suffering a bullet wound in the neck from a 12-gauge shotgun.Felix said he ordered a thorough investigation.Chief Insp. Simeon Gane, police chief of Murcia, said prior to Jaehrling’s death, police received a report about a quarrel between the German and his Filipino wife, Melanie, 34.Police went to check but found Jaehrling already dead.
