But even when Brittney Horstman took it off, guards would not let her in because it is against policy to allow braless women to enter, the Miami Herald reports. Ms Horstman said the metal in her bra triggered alarms at the Miami Federal Detention Centre. She took the clothing off in a bathroom but the guards still refused entry. Prison dress code states women cannot wear "any type of garment that is see-through . . . or clothing that is tight and sexually suggestive or revealing".
