UZI Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 When we lived in Sta Rosa Laguna, we used to go to S&R in Alabang about once a month. S&R for those who don't know it is like Makro or Costco. Their website is SNRSHOPPING We have been members of S&R for over a year and were really happy to see one being built here in Cebu (near SM & Parkmall) now we have moved. Fresh meat is great, lots of imported drinks/wine and American convenience foods. The store layout in Alabang was, Electrical appliances, kitchen accessories, bedding, clothes, cleaning materials on the right with food & groceries on the left. Membership was well worth the P700 per year but intro offer in Cebu is buy one get one. Bargain. Hope they have the Fresh Smoked Salmon for P300 still. Uzi. They don't do furniture as such but do garden stuff like garden tables, swing chairs, BBQ etc. All they sell looks good quality & some have prices to match to be fair. Call me bubba Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 S& R just finished a "SALE" , according to the web site it had many items discounted or reduced, the 3/4 day sale they have several times a year is very good. although i have not renewed my membership. for others it still provides a good source of Quality products not "junk" , since the new ownership took over in late 2007, the "old" personnel are not as "helpful" as they was before,shame as it was the only place I have found that "employees" where "true" in trying to help/assist you. NOW its "sorry" cant help. or "out of stock" dont know when it be back in, the "old" pricesmart (S7R) they knew within a week when the "new" stock would be available.good luck in all those who shop there, it is a "small" slice of what was "back home" 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
