Jake Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 My 21 years in the US Navy had me stationed on board escorts ships (frigates, destroyers and missile cruisers) and to have spent a few months on board a Nimitz class carrier was a treat for me. Although it's seldom for a warship to stop for a "swim call" these days, there are usuallya couple gunners mates manning the side with M-14's to ward off any shark attacks.The Navy and Marine pilots I've had the honor of knowing are all crazy.
