Anybody have any ideas if a foreigner can go to school, still looking to pass the 8th grade....hehe, actually, college courses. Yes, surprising even to myself. :th_thholysheep:Well, I'm getting a bit bored, and have been thinking of possibly even doing a teacher gig, or even a call center agent to keep me busy. Then I thought, what about some cheap education they have here, and becoming a rocket scientist, or bartender...is learning anything here on the cheap possible? Do they allow it? Are the classes in English? Are the courses recognized? Seems it's a win win for them, being they get the cash and a foreigner who raises his hand a lot to use the CR ....and stock it with toilet paper.I've also been thinking of taking a TEFL course back in Cebu to help me out with my requirements of teaching, however, seems a call center will hire more easily. I realize work permits are tough for MOST ALL jobs, but these two seem to get a pass from the government, and the hiring places do much of the work. Some may ask why would I want to be a call center agent, well duh!....who would NOT want to make annoying calls to Mr. Lee in the early morning hours trying to sell him gay porn. :cheersty:

I cannot answer your question on getting an education, except to say that maybe you should take up classes in the local language and that might help to kill some time, while learning some needed things for your life within. Oh on call centers, why not apply for an online customer service rep job in the US for the late shift there which would be days in the PHL. As for the gay porn, you caught me devil.gif and you are telling tales out of school, wave.gif I watch plenty of gay porn, :cheersty: that is with women on women. nudie.gif Actually I am gay, I am a woman in a mans body who desires women. wave.gif

It may serve you well to check that out and post it here. I have toyed with the idea but don't have the attention span to do it anymore. The other question that goes along with it is, Can you get an educational visa while you are studying and what are the pros and cons over the conventional tourist visa for anyone doing that. I did bounce that off the ancient rocka one day and he said he had no idea, which I think is Australian for Ya better check that one out yourself.

As you may know, you need to get a student and work permit. Any reputable school and employer will probably require youto produce those documents. As for working in a call center (my choice) would be a great opportunity to meet and greet a lot of financially independent young females. They may even provde you with much needed "protein".....he, he.Jake
