Due to heavy withdrawals: RBS declares bank holiday By Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon Updated January 06, 2009 12:00 AM CEBU - The fears of many depositors of the Rural Bank of Subangdaku became a sad reality yesterday when it declared a bank holiday, weeks after saying that it does not intend to do so.While seven branches of RBS, three of which are in Cebu, have been closed the association of rural bankers assured their clients that this does not reflect the entire sector and affects only one bank.RBS has its main office in Subangdaku, Mandaue City and has branches in Lapu-Lapu City, Talisay City, General Santos, Dumaguete, Digos, and Las Pi
