4thDan Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) FWIW (for what it's worth) bought a new tp-link wifi router at SM for 1350 easy to install...self set up ....that was a week ago...am hooked to a Globe wimax modem...the whole thing works like a charm.... I moved this post over here where we can discuss it and the costs. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Hey 4th Dan, It's about time that Asian markets are implementing WIMAX technology. According to Wikipedia, Wimax is sometimes referred to as "Wi-Fi on steroids". It is similar to Wi-Fi but it can also permit usage at much greater distances (up to 30 miles or 49 kilometers).
